The Nevada Anti Microbial PVC Riser Recliner is a dual motor riser recliner available in 2 colours, black or cobblestone.
As this chair is fitted with a dual motor mechanism it allows the user to independently control the leg rest and back rest. This allows flexibility for the user to adjust the chair to their preferred position.
Users who like to take a snooze in their chair may find this chair perfect as you can recline the backrest almost fully to give an excellent snooze position and can be stopped at any position to suit in between. It will also lift users to a standing position, taking the pressure off of joints and bones when standing.
If the user is going to be sat in the chair for long periods it is important that pressure is distributed. The Nevada has an excellent memory foam seat upholstery which helps to distribute pressure, ensuring users who spend lots of time in the chair are kept comfortable. The back of the chair also has a three tiered waterfall design which provides the user with extra comfort.
This model is ideal for all care, nursing and residential home environments as it has been tested to BS5852 ignition source 5 (Crib 5) for fire retardancy.
The anti-microbial pvc fabric of the chair has passed the anti-microbial standard ASTM G-21-96. It helps to reduce harmful bacteria such as MRSA and it can be easily be wiped clean which helps to enhance hygiene levels and infection control.
All of the features of the chair are controlled by a easy to use, touch responsive 4 button handset. A safety feature which is fitted as standard is the safety key function. This prevents unintentional movement and potential entrapment of children or pets.
Handy side pockets allow you to store useful items that you need to keep close by.
Includes battery back up facility to enable chair to be brought to its normal position during power failure.

Bought this for my mother as we needed a Anti Microbial fabric. Excellent functionality. We took advantage of the engineered delivery which I must mention. Called us to book in a suitable day. On the day ever helpful and patiently showed my mother how to use the chair until she was confident she understood. They even took away the rubbish. Handy!
