Transit Wheelchairs

These wheelchairs are designed specifically to be pushed by a carer or attendant whilst the user is seated in the chair. Most transit wheelchairs featured within our range are lightweight. They can also be folded down to a more compact size to help with storage and transportation. As the chairs have smaller wheels it makes them easier to manoeuvre in tight spaces.

Most attendant propelled wheelchairs are manufactured from aluminium to ensure the wheelchair remains lightweight whilst being robust and strong. There are some models that are manufactured from heavy duty steel frames. These steel wheelchairs often have increased maximum user weights or are designed for more commercial uses.
