This Hip Kit by Drive Devilbiss comprises of four pieces of equipment that are designed to assist individuals that have limited mobility to carry out everyday tasks independently. 

 

1.       Long Handled Bath Sponge – a handy bathing aid that enables the user to wash their back and legs/feet reducing the need to bend, stretch or twist.  

 

2.       Poly Stocking Aid – is a flexible plastic frame that enables the user to put their socks or stockings on independently whilst minimising the need to bend over to reach their feet so reducing any discomfort or risk of injury.      

 

3.       Hand-held Reacher which is 81cm (32″) long and is ideal for picking up small objects with the minimum of movement.  

 

4.       Plastic Shoe Horn makes putting shoes on that much easier and reduces the need to bend and stretch towards the feet.
