Casa Nuova 4 Low With Metal Side Rails

The new Casa Nuova 4 Low Bed by Drive Medical is a quality bed designed to mitigate risk associated with of the user trying to climb over the side rails at night, being suitable for both the residential care and domestic environments.


The Nuova 4 Low Bed is built to last being manufactured from strong metal steel tube that also makes this bed easy to clean so aiding infection control.

The bed is made up of four sections that are controlled by an easy to use handset that adjusts the electrically powered backrest, leg rest, knee brake, lower leg elevation and tilt option (reverse trendelenburg). These profiling features allow the bed to be set in a wide range of positions reducing manual handling whilst maximising user comfort and ease of access. For added safety all actuators have quick release pins together with emergency lowering.  

Other features of this bed include solid wooden bed ends, metal mesh mattress support, metal side rails that can be lowered and raised and independently braking wheels.
